# Overview

The Modern Lucky Block mod provides the ability to create Lucky Block addons using only Datapacks for Minecraft 1.20.6+.

#### Disclaimer: This wiki is subject to major changes, as the mod is still in Beta and is still figuring out its structure.

### Why?

The original Lucky Block mod has not been updated in a year, and is only available for Minecraft 1.20.2 and below. Furthermore, it does not take advantage of the modern tools that Minecraft provides, namely the Datapack system.
